For Providers

Forms of Collaboration

As a nurse practitioner and specialist, I offer different forms of collaboration for different kinds of providers.

For Prescribing Providers: Consultation, Collaboration, or Referral

Providers can refer patients to me for medication management of psychiatric illness during the conception, pregnancy, and postpartum periods.

Alternatively, prescribing providers have the option to refer patients to me for a single visit for medication decision making. In these instances, I can submit my evaluation note with a detailed treatment plan to the managing provider, with the option for the patient to continue seeing me if necessary. This is an especially important option for some patients with conditions that require either inpatient treatment or controlled substances, as I cannot provide these as a telehealth provider.

I am also happy to have brief, consultative phone calls regarding medication choice for patients. Please call (208) 779-7019 to discuss any questions you have regarding prescribing during the perinatal period.

For Licensed Midwives: Referral

Midwives can refer patients to me for medication management of mental health conditions during the conception, pregnancy, and postpartum periods. I am happy to forward records, or make phone calls to connect with providers, so that the patient receives adequate support during the pregnancy and postpartum.

If you would like to discuss a patient for a consultation, please call the office to leave a voicemail and fax patient records to (833) 989-0917. Your call will be returned within two business days.
